How Often Should Automatic Gates Be serviced?
Residential automatic electric gates should be serviced at least 1-2 times per year. Apartment complex and Commercial electric gates should be serviced every 3 months.

There should only be about a 2″ drop for every 10′ to 12′ (Feet) of chain.

You should oil your gate chain at least every 6 months.
